Overview

The Wattle Street Campus would realise one of the major objectives of the original Girton Grammar Schools' Opportunities Paper - the establishment of a Senior Campus.

The first stage of this project incorporates facilities for Senior Staff, the beginnings of the Performing Arts Facility, together with general Teaching Facilities.

The building is innovative in its design, and again provides flexible space and introduces a "big box" of two storey volume capable of accommodating 150 Students / People, providing great opportunities for drama and music.

The building is linked back to the Morey Building Vine Street Campus with a bridge at first floor level.

The design is dynamic and allows for the Classroom space to open out into the future School Courtyard areas.

The proposed Stage 2 of the Wattle Street Campus, which is only conceptual at this time, includes the remaining Teaching Spaces; a new Library, an Auditorium and the Senior School Recreation Spaces.
