This building represents the first major private commercial development in Bendigo, consisting of 3300m² of office space and undercover secure parking for 55 cars. The building features a sleek modern design with strong horizontal lines punctuated with vertical elements that reflect the rhythm of the streetscape. Feature Corten steel cladding and terracotta injects interest and warmth into an uncomplicated material and colour palette. The western windows are protected from the afternoon sun and high performance glazing was specified to increase the building's energy efficiency. Special attention was paid to the insulation while energy efficient lighting was linked to movement and daylight sensors to reduce power consumption and the carbon footprint of the building.
