A new concept on the drawing board for a contemporary family residence within an inner city heritage suburb of Bendigo Victoria.
Sitting upon a steep slope, the house hugs the two street frontages and buries a lower level into the ground. A north facing courtyard allows both the upper and lower levels to open to a level terraced lawn area and swimming pool.
The juxtaposition between the clean white render surfaces and pitched concrete finish gables and hardwood timbers provide an interesting aesthetic that is intentionally contemporary whist “tipping its hat” to the heritage buildings surrounding.
