GIRTON GRAMMAR SCHOOL – MOREY BUILDING REFURBISHMENT

The school was in urgent need of additional classroom spaces. We were able to deliver a refurbishment of a 1500m2 building from initial concept to handed over building in 10 months. Works commenced within 8 weeks of the first client meeting, through 4 stages that allowed construction to continue as design and documentation packages were finalised.

The building was also delivered under budget with the addition of a virtual reality lab and upgrades to the main atrium space that were not included in the original scope.

The completed works have provided the additional classrooms but also made significant improvements to internal air quality, lighting and acoustics which are now considered crucial to student learning outcomes.
