BENDIGO CREATIVE INDUSTRIES HUB

Eplus Architecture was engaged by the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions as the Principal Consultant to transform the c1910 Morely Johnson and Co building into the a bespoke co-working and event space to support Bendigo’s creative practitioners and entrepreneurs. As an initiative for Creative Victoria and managed by ACMI with local Stakeholders, we were able to successfully design a multi-use space with flexibility to meet the needs of varying users.

Making use of the existing building footprint, flexible design concepts and layers of design thinking, we have provided a work space that can adapt into exhibition spaces, display/gallery spaces, large scale meeting and conference spaces all within the one building envelope. Applying modern thinking to workplace design, this project demonstrates the value of adaptive re-use of existing spaces and the opportunities that can be realized.
